1. Engagement Agreement
By engaging Storylight Studios for any service, you agree to the terms outlined here. Each engagement begins with a formal proposal detailing scope, deliverables, timeline, and investment. The proposal, once accepted in writing, becomes the binding agreement for that specific engagement.
2. Confidentiality
Storylight Studios maintains strict confidentiality regarding all client information, including book content, sales data, marketing strategies, and any proprietary information shared during the course of our work. We do not disclose client identities or project details without explicit written consent.
3. Service Delivery
All services are delivered according to the timeline specified in your engagement proposal. We commit to professional standards of quality and communication throughout the engagement. Any delays caused by client-side dependencies will be communicated promptly and timeline adjustments made accordingly.
4. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to provide accurate and timely information, respond to communication within reasonable timeframes, and grant necessary access to platforms and accounts required for service delivery. Service outcomes depend significantly on client collaboration and implementation of recommended strategies.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, strategies, and materials created by Storylight Studios for a client become the property of that client upon full payment of the engagement fee. Storylight Studios retains the right to reference the engagement in portfolio materials only with explicit client consent.
6. Payment Terms
Payment terms are specified in each engagement proposal. Unless otherwise stated, a deposit may be required to begin work, with the balance due upon completion. Late payments may result in paused work until payment is received.
